I am 59 years old.I started out with vans.I owned Crescent City Customs.We specialized in custom van and pickup conversions.I made all of the truck ins till that died out.15 years ago I decided to start doing handicaped modifications to all types of vehicles.Handcontrols to drive,lifts to get the person and there chair into the car or truck.I started playing with lowering a truck to aid a person with a disability in and out of a vehicle.I am currently trying to take some of the lowered floor mini van ideas into the truck scene.I am trying to perfect a mechanical way of lowering a truck,leaving the stock suspension on.I have been working on my truck now for over 4 years.Due to hurican katrina I will probably never finish it the way I planned.
