About Me

10 Year veteran of Mini Truckin' scene and President of one of the oldest Mini Truck Clubs around. I started out Mini Truckin' with a primered '72 Datsun Bulletside. It was a standard Cab short box with a Ford V6,Suicide doors and an electric powered dump box. Moved from there to a 1981 Datsun 720 King Cab. I Hammered that and bolted up a bed, fenders and a hood from a 1984 Model. Had the windows tinted Blue and rolled the strip with Stock steel wheels with 60 series rubber. Motor spun a bearing so I sold it to my cousin. Went to a 1979 Dodge D-50 from there. It had a frenched rear plate, louvered hood and bottoms of fenders and a frenched antenna in cab behind the passenger door. That truck was dubbed "Tinker Toy II" and was painted teal green with bass boat metal flake. Sold that to my friend in High School. Bought a 1987 Mazda from my brother after I sold the D-50. While I had the Dawg I also had a black and silver 1985 Astro Cargo Van that I lowered 6" in the front and 8" in the rear. I had 15" Eagle Stars on that. Rockers and unibody frame rotted out so I scrapped it and sold the suspension. Also sported a tan 1987 Nissan Hardbody Kingcab that was lifted 5 inches and had 33" Super Swampers on it. After that I had a 1993 Isuzu Spacecab.

Currently I am working on a '91 Sonoma King Cab, a '93 Mazda Cab Plus and an '89 Chevy C1500 standard cab long bed. The Sonoma is sittin on a 5/7 static drop and has '95 S10 wheels on it. It is freshly painted Ford Grabber Blue and sports all clear windows, chrome handles and grille,100% Billet Colorado Customs Hancock Steering Wheel and a front flip hood courtesy of a modified '91 Buick LeSabre hood and is in the middle of a longbed conversion.
