This is an XR7, early 1967 model. The options on 1967 Cougars were changed 3 times in this model year. Rare blue-on-blue color scheme. Came off the line in Dearborn MI on March 24 1967 originally with a 289 but was changed at the last minute due to a dealership order for a 390,which gives it the 6.5 liter tags.
Blue on Blue. Smaller steering wheel with grant billet collar. New seats installed to match original color and pattern, new B&M shifter.
Stock suspension, totally new polygraphite front end. Rear end components have also been replaced with new leaf springs and polygraphite bushings.
Billet Specialties Daggers. 18X10 rear with 17X7 in front maintain the aggressive rake.
Kenwood. Memphis audio subwoofer in the trunk.
She is done. Paint shop reproduced the original glacier blue which looks gorgeous and the wheels really set off the body. This sexy cat is a head turner. From here out, it's little stuff like a gear swap and maintenance.
